US gambling affiliate rules - Can I enter this market?

Hello people!

I havn't really done much research as it's a bit tricky to find good info.

We are established in Malta with our gambling affiliate business and targeting EU countries.

Can I go into the US market by simply adding /us to my domain. Heared something that only New Jersey is ok?

If there is a good article about this or if somebody knows I would appreciate some info!
