The problem I see is, the market is way too sensible for whatever news come in the way (at CCN & co) ! This is pretty much manipulation, isn't it ?

I thought it was due to Korea banning it, as well as the Korean NYE?

The South Korean justice minister is only threatening to ban it, however, unfortunately for him, he can't do whatever he wants. The bill would need a clear majority vote before it becomes law. This could take months or years, so the South Korean issue is just creating FUD for now.
