Default PartyGaming holding talks with GigaMedia

Online gambling giant PartyGaming has been in the news a lot lately. The Sunday Times in London has reported that the gaming group has been holding talks with rival Gigamedia.

Gigamedia is thought to have hired Goldman Sachs to find a buyer for the whole company or simply its Everest poker brand.

Party Gaming, which is said to be eyeing a number of possible deals, declined to comment on the Gigamedia talks but a spokesman said: “We have made it very clear we believe the industry will consolidate and we will look at opportunities as and when they arise.”

Wow - This could be massive - Not just players and penetration into non US markets but Party Gaming would officially have an office in the US right next door to GPWA

This is starting to make a LOT more sense now. We might have all blown the 'Party Gaming heading back to the US' a little out of control lately. Well, accepting US players wise...
