Default Golden Casino to stop accepting players as of 1 December, 2009

I received this notice from our account manager at Best Casino Partner. Make sure you get your campaigns adjusted before the end of the month.

    Hi affiliate,

I want to share with you some very important news. I’ve just received confirmation that in light of recent events one of our clients, Golden Casino, is in the process being sold and under the new ownership, Golden Casino will no longer be accepting new players as of December 1, 2009. Please note, however, this decision does not affect existing Golden Casino players and you’ll continue to be paid on their losses as long as the casino remains in operation.

This client’s decision does not affect the other 3 brands we represent (Online Vegas, GOCasino and Crazy Slots). The operators of these properties have reaffirmed their committment to continue operating within the US market so I wanted to make sure that you would have sufficient time to change your links and campaigns in order to promote the other 3 brands prior to December 1.

If you have any questions or concerns, or if you are in need of custom creatives for any property, please let me know.

    All the Best,
    [name of our account manager]

Hmmm, why haven't all affiliates been notified of this? Seems pretty important to me.

My contact at BCP indicated that the message was sent out to all their affiliates. I'd posted it just in case anyone missed the email. Might be worth checking spam filter settings or the email address on your account with them in you're a affiliate of theirs and this hadn't come through.

I really dont think I even got an email, but I have been assured it's been sent. I checked my spam folders (both local and server) and didn't see it. I do believe they tried to send an email.

As an added laugh, AffActive is emailing affiliates trying to get the space Golden was in. I dont know about you all, but I find that poor and puts AffActive in a negative light.

I have also been emailed by AffActive to replace Golden Casino on my site with Winpalace Casino.

I haven't seen the email from Affactive yet, but I agree that is in poor taste.

The email about Golden closing though I did get though.
