LOL - this is getting ridiculous
Important Information about Affordability
GGPoker wants your experience with us and our partners at WSOP to be fun, entertaining and most importantly safe at all times.
As you might know, UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) requirements mean that we have a responsibility to make sure that all of our players can afford to play the games they choose at GGPoker; we call the process affordability checking.
What are Affordability Checks?
Affordability checking is complex as “affordability” means different things to different people. It may mean that as a GGPoker player you are asked to provide very personal information. We promise that anything you send us will not be shared or used for any purpose other than to make sure you can afford to play your favorite games at GGPoker.
How much am I allowed to deposit?
Newly identity verified players at GGPoker have the following maximum deposit limits:
$200 per day
$400 per week, or
$1,300 per month
Should you want to deposit amounts over this to your account, we will need to confirm your affordability to ensure your requested limits are still safe for you.
Please make sure that you are playing at an affordable level. You may lower your deposit limits if you feel you need more control over your game.
If I want to prove a higher affordability, what will I need to provide?
Typically, we will ask you for 3 months of bank statements in PDF form from the account that shows your main source of income.
- We can also accept 3 months of e-wallet statements in PDF form (accompanied by a screenshot of the homepage of your e-wallet account) as long as your income is displayed on these statements
- We are also required to understand the origin of your income and must receive complementary documentation with your statements that explain the source of your funds.
For example:
- If you receive a salary, we can accept payslips to verify your wages
- If your funds are from poker winnings, we would need to see withdrawals from other poker sites into your bank account. We cannot accept screenshots of other online poker account balances
- If you have a large amount of savings, we would need any evidence that can explain to us how you acquired your wealth
