It's illegal according to Singapore law makers to accept Singapore players for online gambling - or even target them for advertising.

The Singapore government maintains an active internet "block list" of gambling sites - and even some affiliate sites.
OF course determined players can get around this - but the blocks stop the majority of Singapore residents.
