    Hi Jo,

    Is it possible to get these videos embedded on sites with affiliate links attached?

    Hi Pokerworx,

    I asked our Poker affiliate manager to explore the possibilities of this a few months ago and he mentioned to me that we couldn't do this. I will see what I can do for you though.

    I'll get back to you asap

    Hi Pokerworx

    Sorry for the delay, I have been chasing colleagues for a definite answer to your request.

    It is a bit awkward as Helen Chamberlain features in some of the videos and she no longer works with Sky Poker so we won't be allowed to promote them externally.

    That said, we are creating a lot more educational content and will shortly have a video page to play the content out.

    Would it be ok if I let you know when this launches? You will definitely be able to embed these on your sites with affiliate tracking.

    I will keep you in the loop with dates etc.

    Cheers,

    Jo<o></o>

    Start by reading a book or two, maybe Doyles Super System, just to get a basic understanding of the game. The best way to learn is from experience, Play Play Play!! The more hands and situations you see, the better off you will be. Start with the free games and slowly work your way up in limits, once you feel comfortable beating the limit you are playing move up to the next limit.

    You can take help of the videos and books available online. Numerous articles are there on the web to help you in learning poker strategies like <meta http-equiv="CONTENT-TYPE" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><title></title><meta name="GENERATOR" content="OpenOffice.org 2.4 (Win32)"><style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> casinoscorner.
    With time and experience, you could definitely become a professional player.

    There are wide links in the internet that will teach you the basics, from game rules to hand rankings to basic strategies. After a bit of reading, the best way to learn how to play poker is by playing the free poker games at an online cardroom -- or even just watching others play. It's very simple to do, you download the software, sign up (doesn't cost anything unless you eventually play for real money) then click one of the active tables and watch how the game moves and how poker hands are played. If you want to play, click an open seat on a free-play table and start playing. The learning process is greatly accelerated, and you don't need to rely on friends to put together a game. Online there are always games to play or watch. Naturally free games are wilder and somewhat unrealistic compared to money games, but in terms of offering a way to learn the fundamentals, nothing else in history compares.

    When I first started playing online I jumped right in and lost. Afterward, I started reading poker books and they really help me with my game. I also checked out poker player forums and read up on hand history discussion that people have posted and other people commented on.

    After a while, you will get the hang of it. One of my friend took $50 and turned it into hundreds of thousands, just from reading a few books, playing a lot, and being active on the poker forums.
