English acnhor text baclinkto non-english website for traffic purpose

My website (http://esportalbet.com) provides live sports streams, football highlights mostly in english and website language is turkish. i am doing backlink works on some social bookmarking sites like "watch football live stream" and so on. My logic to do that is only increase site traffic and statistics. I do not expect any revenue from those visitors.

Do you think i am wasting my time ? Should i only focus on turkish words ?

Not the best idea in my opinion. You should look for traffic in domain language.

Yes, I agree. It's definitely better to look for traffic in their respective domain language instead.

Everyone will tell you to use the same language.. but will never tell you why, if it works if it does not etc.. There are manyy countries that speak English almost natively as a second language and English links are shared often, very common...

I would try to make it a healthy mix - at this moment most urls are non-Turkish? I would go for about 60-90% native.

All urls and text contents are turkish. But, live streams and highlights are in english. People do not need to read the text indeed. They will use the site to watch those streams.

I also do local seo, again my purpose is Just to increase traffic, visit duration time etc. I believe it Will help somehow.
