Link building for link popularity

Can someone tell me what is a good number of incoming links to add on a monthly basis? I am thinking of adding about 20 incoming links per month to my site! Do you guys think that this is alot of incoming links to add on a monthly basis?

I think 50 to 100 links are not problems! I have seen my clients giving me order of 200 links a month and they are performing good in google! I see no fast link building punishment by google!

Pont is that links should be from themed pages and separate IP's

I tend to agree. The fact is, if your site is hella popular and receives a tonne of legit links per month, is Google gonna penalize your site? Hell no. The trick is to mix those directory one-way links with links that come from non-directory-related sites.

That is why you should seek out as many [insert the site here] as possible. It's a Black Hat technique that is actually valid in the White Hat world.

however if you do 200 link to month can be helpfull to have some success in filed of gambling.

however there is one big differences between 200 link pr0 or 200 link pr1 or 200 link Pr2.

I think that one must have about 500 links to month to have one good success in filed of the gambling ( about 400 from pr0 and 97 from pr 1 and 3 from pr3 or pr4 or pr5 ).

However already to have 200 links pr0 is big success.
