Is a new Google Core Update rolling out right now ?

Looking at my GSC data over the last 24 hours, I'm seeing some severe fluctuations and heavy algorithmic stress testing. It doesn't seem to be isolated to the iGaming niche, either. I'm experiencing the exact same pressure and intense Google Dance across my regular, local business websites in completely different sectors.
Is anyone else experiencing this kind of massive volatility and ranking drops right now ?

yes, seeing an increase in traffic overall. something's up for sure.

Had a large spike in traffic yesterday, seems to have slowed a bit today but still over normal

I have noticeds a lot of unrelatred sites ranking. it has felt broken for a while but now even more so. Igaming is filled with video game repurposed domains and parasite media. Not just igaming but i rarely use google for any of my own personal searches anymore.

Yes barring a few exceptions they believe they are making improvements in most updates but rather than achieving a successful result they end up with a nonsensical one.

My sites are still trying to recover from the May Core update. Seeing fresh volatility in GSC right now as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if Google is testing something again.

Feels like the SERPs have become Google's permanent beta version

There's something brewing that's for certain, all the hallmarks of a pre-core update shuffling of the SERPs from what I'm seeing.

I'm also seeing a lot of US-specific websites appearing on the UK SERPs right now, another telltale sign that something is going on.

Don't panic and start wondering what you did wrong do not change your content or your code because this is not a specific sanction against your site My websites across different sectors are going through the exact same heavy fluctuations personally, I believe that until the waters settle in this choppy sea you should avoid making any content or code changes based on the fear that your content is bad and causing you to lose ranks
I am waiting for this to pass and settle down
