oddschecker is the one I envy, great UI, great rankings and must have a hell of a backend to aggregate all those odds in close to real time.
Yeah they are goodthink they would make top 5! Must make a killing

Edgar, what drags you into that site? Love the mobile views. But not one I know,.
Will have a good look around later though.

I'd guess oddschecker will be most people's envy due to popularity. Something about olbg makes it look a bit tacky imo.
Oddschecker is the holy grail, although http://footyaccumulators.com/.com is pretty big for me. Would love to be in their shoes.
Scoredle.fun the ultimate daily football quiz
Oddschecker all day long. Great site, they've got everything you need, a great brand name and ultimately they are USEFUL. You go back every time because you want to, because they have something there that is a resource.
OLBG pretty good with their tipster competitions again something useful and free and with good prize giveaways, though I think they could do with a big update of layouts and stuff, but again a top site.
Freebets.com and freebets.co.uk because they score so highly, they have such strong, consistent rankings and obviously the very best domain names.
Goal.com is the one I envy.
http://footyaccumulators.com/ are good lads. Website is always slick 2

Which site do I envy? Well, any site that is bigger than mine.![]()

Hahaha You amused me! It's not about bigger, I think. Maybe about smart site that drive more audience?!
Yeahhh it's hard job to make big site enough that other people envy about.
From other side, when we see better site, it's impulse for our ambtions to become better????? ..........
Take a look at this article Football Betting at Every1bets.com – Falcons Back in Friendly Environs as They Take on Bucs from the other night.
interesting thread, I think it will be very useful for beginners who are browsing to make an idea about the industry.
I`d like to be like the websites which make the big bucks. However, betshoot is the website I "envy" and I won`t deny I inspired myself from them (however I did have the same idea about how a betting tips website should look before even finding about about them, 7-8 years ago). There`s some top notch coding there, everything is super fast, user friendly and accessible.
I see you guys are all over oddschecker, I find them a little bit unintuitive and not user friendly, I use them only for the less popular markets, I prefer oddsportal for simple odds and handicaps. I do respect oddschecker`s complexity A LOT though.
Betdistrict.com - free betting tips & previews
Happybags.ro - romanian e-commerce website
WW2HistoryBook - World War Two Library
Very interesting thread ...
I prefer Betexplorer for simplicity as my odds portal - easy to see what is on - what the odds are - for mainstream bets.
Logging in means you can configure to remove bookmakers you don't use.
If it's a prop bet I'm looking for then I use Oddschecker ... but I don't think much of that interface either. Too many clicks, javescript menus and pull down boxes required to finally get to the bet I want.
Betshoot's front page is packed - but much squeezed in without seperators for me - I certainly do NOT to want to replicate it. But there is a lot of information crammed in there so there is a lot of functionality. Possibly this mess is the result of trying to accept mobile traffic?
OLBG is another site that has gone backwards in site design as they chase the mobile market with responsive design. It's a deep site but you wouldn't know it as the text has been sacrificed for a bright "orange crayon" kids look.
(see http://www.olbg.com/hot-tips.php as an example of yeuck!)
Another site thats an awful layout now is ESPNs football offering.
Compare their rich text main site ( http://espn.go.com/ ) with the kiddie-crap football site ( http://www.espnfc.us/ )
Livescore.com has amazing traffic, but I wouldn't want it as a basis for my site. But I do have their app on my phone! Nice work.
Whoscored.com are probably closer to the style I like once you get to the articles ... but I'd never heard of them before.
--------------------------------
And I say all this absolutely knowing that almost no webmaster or design guru will like our http://www.goonersguide.com website.
But it gives me exactly what I wanted out of a sports betting site. Deeper info on tips, and tipsters, some stats, odds and an opinion.
It also gives options on bookmakers, casino and poker allowing some sort of cross-sell to visitors if they are inclined that way ...
Every person will have their own opinions on what style they like - and I guess our own sites are a reflection of that style.
I've always envied the owner of oddsportal.com, they have a great site and the popularity of it is strong. Oddschecker is ok, but if I was to chose, it would definitely be oddsportal.
My personal site is a tennis pick based site, and the closest to that online is Stevie G tennis. I don't evny the content on the site, as I have always believed my previews are of a similar standard, but they do get ALOT of traffic. They're also indexed in Google news.
