Brand mascot

I've been thinking about getting some kind of brand mascot to give my sites (see signature) a bit more personality... To fit with the 'guide' in the name I'm thinking something reasonably authoritative, but not too stiff. Also have to make sure that it can't be seen as child-friendly.

I've got a vague character in mind, but I'd be really grateful to hear any thoughts or ideas.

With stupid legislation I am sure any animal can be seen as non child friendly. PC world nonsense.....

It's a good idea though but no idea what you could use. Maybe not an animal, maybe a person?

Same here. From the colors on the site, I'd say some a butler would do. You know, the Victorian type in posh clothing.

I think I'm on similar lines... Maybe it doesn't need to be a butler, just a suave 007-esque guy in a suit, something like that?
