Autoloader Tape Backup for sale(attention geek speak ahead)

Slightly off topic for a gambling forum, but sure to bring at least one comment and smile from giggles....

Since I am planning to sell this unit on an Ebay auction I figured I would drop a line out there to my friends here in case they might be interested.

This will likely only appeal to those webmasters that have dedicated servers and or rack equipment.

It is a used Dell 122T LTO-2 Tape Drive. It is a 8 disk changer autoloader. The LTO2 is a 200/400 Gig tape unit. (basically, with 7 tapes you normally run a weekly full backup with an incremental daily, and the autoloader does this on a different tape every day without ever touching it)

I am letting it go with a full set of blank tapes and a head cleaning cartridge.

This does NOT come with Backup exec or any other software, although I can send along the firmware files if needed.

Although this is a stand alone unit, you do need a system with a scsi adapter in it to hook up to the tape drive.

But at least when I do decide to sell my unit on the forum, that I do so with the proper disclaimers...

And since my stand alone unit is one of the most up todate and best version of firmware that is applicable...
