Clearly there are some people with far too much time on their hands to debate this so massively.
Spam is spam to me. Anyone can recognise it. It's pointless posts to build links.
Let's not try too much to psycho-analyse it.

Every day, as many other affiliates, i get many emails and messages from many suspicious persons. This is the specificity of our profession. We are the part of gambling industry.

Gambling industry is impossible without suspicious persons around. So, what i must think that somebody, who i don't know, sent me every month PMs on GPWA and AGD like "Dear Moonlight Cat, i am too worry, did you get you aff.comission from **** or not"?

Offcourse my first impression that this is aff.manager from bad aff.program, or link seller, or hacker, or something else who want to cheat me.

Offcourse, if this is real person who really try to create relationship and friendship - no problem. I am always open for this.

Leopold, this is cultural misunderstanding. Diffirent national mentality. When i posted pictures with God Father, this means are form o respect. Don't forget, that we live in absolutely different cultures. For example for me, interest of my family and inner circle is always more important than the interests of the state. As i know, you are a very educated person and know Russian history, so i hope you understand why.

Life outside Western world is very differs. It is impossible to survive without friends and familly support. So this is the reason, that "God Father" is more positive than negative hero in some countries outside western world.

But may be my mistake, that i am forget, that vtyunby65 is from western world too. So, if you so serious about that - my apologies.

As much as I want to give the benefit of the doubt that posts are a result of an illness (Never heard of a illness that results in creating spam for backlinks) I also need to look at it logically, Not just the member in question of this thread but there is a whole new wave of posters... I mean ridiculous posts and comments each patting each other on the back.. stuffed Indian travel agency links and much more. just check the last 300 threads started and you will see what i mean.

So getting back to the question of illness and are some members right to call spam or are they just bullying? The said member is also a member of other boards which posts are made AFGD for example, average of two posts per week just enough to keep the web profile (min 5 active posts per month) live.. then there is the link profile of the site which is being linked to... thousands upon thousands of spammy links. So is this bullying or is a member being called out for spam? who is right?

One thing for sure is that this whole forum has changed in quality i.e it used to be a place for those to talk about gaming related subjects and help, that's now being drowned out with the infiltration of a new generation of member that only serves to build thousands of links.. my advice is no follow links and create a vote on who should appear on the front page.

Don't take this is a personal attack as it's not.. i'm just pointing out the obvious and if GPWA want to alienate some of the more serious contributors (more than they already have) then that's fine, in a years time you can all post threads on how sunny the day is today and how kind for the response etc.

    Quote from 24. May 2017

    Progger
, the creator of this poll:

"Find where the attackers family and friends live.Drag everyone of them to the street and burn them alive."

Public call for barbarous homicide of innocent people, in this case uninvolved family members, that means, the wife, children and the parents of the wife, also their friends, everyone, which is a crime in Germany.

This is the true face of the poll starter, dear audience.
    No conspiracy theory.
    A real quote.
    A fact.

The impersonation of hate, and you supported him with a "yes".

Latest now even an idiot should see the difference between the decent "no" voters and the "yes" losers.

U always say "here is nothing to hide"

    This is correct.

"and now tell me how many times u have Voted "No"...
    "

I voted one time and I request GPWA to confirm, that I have no 2nd account and that there is no unknown voter, e.g. a new registered one, that could be me.

    Please...
Can we return to the actual topic, instead of taking posts/comments out of context, and using these for character assassination.
    That isn't cool, at all.

    What is the topic?

Is vtyunby65 abusing/gaming the GPWA monthly Recognition awards, by literally spamming the forums with posts. Whereby also gaining multiple dofollow links to his sig link, and member page.

Any derails etc, are ALL irrelevant moot points.

    Thanks for your response

We dont vote for a president - do not take that seriously.Nothing bad will happens with vtyunby.

But we still need a solution,to solve the link spam here on gpwa.

    ~
The Pn´ option should be available for every new "0 posts" user. This reduce some spam posts. Spamming over pn´s wont work, here must be 60s between each message.

But what we do,with the "page of the month" and frontpage links ? All nofollow ?

    Make your suggestions...

The time you see, may not be the time I see, or others see either. It all depends on the time-setting a member has used in the UCP. So to save confusion here's the link: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/should-we...tml#post876835

We can debate opinions till the 'cows come home'. But facts are not up for debate.

In saying that, the link profiles posted (and their subsequent "first seen" dates), seem to tie back (to around the time) when vtyunby65 1'st started this vigorous postings/thanking regime (not only here but at other forums too). These have got progressively intense since. So much so, members are now using the block function.

As a side observation, this isn't the first thread to raise the "spamming" concern --- just sayin.

Progger, Roulette Zeitung - To be clear there is one vote per account and there were not votes placed by new no post accounts.

Wonderpunter - Quality of posts are important and I believe should be considered when we compile the monthly recognition. I will look into how we can fairly incorporate such a criteria.

Happyfeet - Thank you for your voice of reason.

We can have different opinions and even argue and complain as long as we keep it civil. The personal attacks need to stop. I have a dozen complaints from members all complaining about each other, but then will continue instigate others. Half will complain we let too much go and the other half say we are censoring too much. When you have a forum this size, it is impossible to make everyone happy.

I am always open to discuss improvements. I do believe there needs to be updates to our posting rules and a consistent enforcement so everyone is treated the same with a clear understanding of what is appropriate and what is over the line.

    Hey Progger,

I've seen him posting a lot. But most of the posts I've seen from him (her?) were not robotic ones, and explained his beliefs. Quite the same like I do. Yes, even with multiple replies (to or not to different persons) in the same thread, if you feel you need to put in your two cents.

And I do believe that my posts added quite some value to this forum along the time ! As others said, if you have something against Vtyunby65 member (or anyone else), just change the settings in a way (add him to your ignore list) so you will not have his/her posts displayed.

Personally I think that this poll did more harm to your own image than bringing any harm to member Vtyunby65 ! If this really was such a strong nuisance for you and didn't know how to adjust the forum settings, you could have created a thread and ask people how can you add someone to your ignore list so you will not see their posts again. Without giving names. Let alone asking to ban a member.

This thread plunging into the shitter from post one is why I flagged (reported) the post within an hour of seeing it and the poll going live.

As for Eissa's motives on posting - it should not matter if he is ill, obsessive, doing it for links, hoping to achieve #1 in the monthly algorithm, posting to build rapport with people, hitting a thread with a quick written thanks so that he can follow it, or whatever. Who am I, who are we to judge. Like I said before, just set up to ignore. He is not hurting my business by posting the way he does and odds are he's not hurting yours either. Think about that.

If he or anyone else publishes false information - call bullshit. If someone posts just to post - think about how many people blow sunshine up one another's asses in the monthly top posters threads congratulating each other. Think about how many "bumps" to sales threads or link exchanges you see. Show discipline and just ignore them.

On a final note, neither Eissa nor any one poster or groups of members here are the reason that this forum as a whole has changed. No matter how much people want to believe this place used to be full of information and useful posts and active profitable programs and "you people" ruined it - that is just not the case.

Let me use a completely different scenario. One which I'm sure most of us dislike immensely. Email spam.

Most, if not all of that mail-box-junk is fueled by making money in some way. Be this via an affiliate link, selling SEO services, online dating etc., etc, the list goes on and on. The operative word which drives all this spam is? MONEY!!!

If, lets say starting tomorrow, spammers made no MONEY from spam, I'm sure our junk folders would be practically empty.

Maybe some of vtyunby65 posts are helpful. But the majority are not.

Granted the motivation isn't akin to what powers email spam. But, the reward(s) at the GPWA, like some other forums, is the highly valuable "dofollow" derivative. Not withstanding the possibility of gaining the "GPWA Poster of the Month Award", where that member gains a GPWA home page (dofollow) link for a month.

A couple of members holding/having a grip over a poster's style, can be easily attributed to a personality clash. However, when multiple members, of varied personalities, locales and gambling affiliate experience, ALL start singing the same tune (and provide spammy backlink proof), then more often than not, something is suspect and needs investigation.

    Edit:
Frankly, there's only a few people who I take as gospel on forums. The rest, it's a grain of salt.
My beef in all of this is... why should people who maintain a correct forum etiquette, be penalized, by others who are clearing gaming the system!
