Talking Can yu still make money in gaming!?

Can you still make money in gaming?

    Just a quick question.

If you are a new affiliate is it still possible to make money in gaming i.e. casino, poker, bingo? Or are you better off to look at different markets?

So many gaming affiliate sites haven't changed in years. Lack of change / development is usually a sign that things are not worth working on any more.

Wondered if I could get your opinions and get a quick survey of your experience.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replys.

I would say of course! Affiliate marketing is always shifting, changing, growing and evolving so there are plenty of opportunities for new affiliates.

Pick a vertical that interests you personally, start with the basics and then find a way to put your own unique and new spin on it.

    Cheers,

    Hi Alan,

I've got sites that I haven't changed in 3 years but that doesn't mean they don't perform.
I have other sites that are updated on at least a weekly basis.

Any new affiliate heading into this market, or any other for that matter, is faced with a learning curve.

The age old saying "you get out what you put it" is one phrase that is certainly true in the affiliate gaming industry.

If you choose to get into the gaming industry as an affiliate, making a solid commitment to working long hours with little or no return for the first 6 - 8 months is the price most gambling affiliates pay.

The up side to this (meaning less competition)...a percentage of people give up, lose hope and belief in their objectives.
Maybe a proportion of the sites you seeing as dated maybe a result of these webmasters losing interest.

Although the industry is not the cash cow it was when I got started in 2000, it's certainly not a flogged horse just yet

    Cheers

There is definately money to be made, but be prepared to put in the work, it won't come as easy as before.

YES! absolutely. BUT it's a lot harder than people think it is. It takes time and effort. Don't expect to make much in the first six months or so. (depends on pre-existing knowledge) There are great opportunities for new affiliates.
