    Cool Keyword Data

So I took a few years out due to health issues and when I come back I'm searching through google analytics looking at my decimated website and wondering where all the traffic went but mostly I'm clicking through the menus trying to find the damn keyword data, the most important thing obviously.. then I realise it's not there, a quick search reveals that google seem to have encrypted all their search data! So it's going to be interesting trying to get this thing going again to say the least...

Have you guys managed to find a way around this?

Also I'm thinking of canning the entire site and rebuilding it from scratch with mobile responsiveness, as I'd be starting again is there anything you would add if you had to start your site again? Something you wished you'd put in from the start?

Lastly I'm thinking of just quitting for good, would I get a good price for a 1999 domain name (online-casinos.co.uk) and 4000 page site (mostly dated content, still original though)? Bearing in mind that google hates the site at the moment, it was offline for quite a while and tanking anyway.

    Cheers and stay happy guys

I'd advise building a new site from scratch, and selling this one to someone who can make it work.

I would start from scratch on. Perhaps use some content that is still usable.

Yeah the people who host the site said google's been penalising sites that aren't mobile responsive. I guess the penalties must be quite severe.

They only penalise your site on the mobile search results if you don't have a responsive mobile site. So your rankings on normal google won't be affected and to recover from the mobile 'penalty' you just need to make it mobile friendly (which would be pretty difficult on a static site)

Has nothing to do with mobile.

Maybe you know this, but a way around this is to go to webmaster tools - search traffic - search analytics and see how you rank for all kinds of keywords, which keywords are most clicked on and searched, CTR, etc.
    Betdistrict.com - free betting tips & previews
    Happybags.ro - romanian e-commerce website
WW2HistoryBook - World War Two Library

I didn't know that, thought Google had barred all access to the data. I've not been able to access webmaster tools since getting back so thanks for this.
