Comments Appreciated | New Affiliate Site

Hey guys,

First of all compliments on the site.

I am part of a small and relatively new team. I am still getting used to the affiliate world but might I add that I'm glad to be on board.

Well here is the site: bet-central . com

The site still lacks a lot of content. What do you think about its look? We went for something clear and transparent. Few flash banners and an emphasis on the reviews. Yet sometimes I feel it needs to be a bit more dynamic. Any comments are appreciated.

What you could do is maybe add a small banner to the top section of your website's template. Elaborate a bit more on your logo. Personally I don't like flash banners rather use gif banners.

Apart from that your site looks nice and easy to navigate. It also loads pretty fast which will stand you in good stead in the long run especially with Google.

Thanks for you comments cass. Those are some good points you raised and I guess I opted for flash banners to make the site that bit more dynamic. I didn't give it too much thought, but now I'm think gif banners might better suite the site.

Hi Bet-Central,

First of all I really like the name of the site. I think it would be good to add scratch cards, bingo and Poker to the selection of products you offer. This way you will offer a wider selection and therefore get more traffic.

It is very important for you to get some new content soon, because that is a put off for players; you should requests affiliate managers to send you material.
The tweeter button on the side of the home page is not working and also the facebook button and tweeter bottom at the bottom of the page are not working either.

Yes you are right Maria, we are somewhat limited at the moment. I'm not sure whether it is best to concentrate on one market then expand later on, or just jump into everything at once.. The site needs a considerable amount of work, and we are still just beginning. I will take up your suggestion to request content for the time being.

You should fill up your forum with threads and sections otherwise you are going to have a higher bounce rate.

Hi There! I checked out your site as well and there are already great recommendations for you to work on!

I personally really like the page, its simple and very user friendly, it loads up pretty quickly and I do like the way you decided to show us the title of your site.

There are a couple of broken links but I can imaging you know this already.

I noticed that the section "Jurisdiction" is amongst the featured Casinos, I think that section could be placed either below the eCobra section or at the very bottom of the page.

I also think you should add a little banner to every Casino featured, not just for half of them!

Overall, I really like your site and you are heading in the right direction! I hope this info helps out a little bit. Good Luck!

Thanks Gram and Gabriel. Yep, there still are some broken links which must be fixed and the 'Highlights' section contains some articles, casino reviews and links in no particular order. I also believe that it will look better under eCOGRA. About the banners, I am in the process of completing affiliate deals for those casinos without a banner. So hopefully they will soon all contain banners

I am very happy that some of you pointed out that the site is easy to use and loads fast. That was our primary goal.
