feedback for another new website

Hello everybody,

I'm a new portal owner and I got my site up not too long ago (www.50grand.com). I still need to fill in content, fix all the links, and add more stuff, but for the most part it's all there.

I would like some feedback on my site (aside from broken links and the fact I need to fill in the rest of the pages. I'm mainly looking for criticism on looks and my format.

I would also like to share traffic, is anybody interested.

Last, I would greatly appreciate tips/advice from those who have done this for a little longer than I have.

You're off to a good start.... You have some typos in the text, you'll want to get a links page set up as well

Your layout looks pretty good. I would add some heading one (H1) keywords to the very top of the page to help your Google rankings. You can always make these smaller than a two storey building by using cascading style sheets (css) to format the text. http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/css/

I would also make your logo link to your homepage for navigation purposes. Add some alt tags to all your images as in many cases this will help in some, not all, search engines.
