About 1 hour ago, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her flat in the UK.

Yeah, It was sad news, but as everyone else has mentioned - it was to be expected as she was on a downward spiral. Even her own mother recently mentioned that it was only a matter of time before she died!!
Its a real shame though as she had a lot of talent and could have had a bright future.

Agreed, and very sad to hear when life ends at such a young age. Amy Winehouse had been warned about her lifestyle leading to a premature death and if something good comes out of this, it would be nice for others in a similar situation to her to get out while they can and turn their life around.

Its a pity that she had so much talent and such an addictness for self-destruction.

She was very successful with her style of music but you always think what could have been if she didn't have the problems she obviously faced on a daily basis.

Same with Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix - I wonder what great anthemic songs would Hendrix of created if he was still alive?! He was truly brilliant.

Sad to learn Amy Winehouse has been ushered into the 27 club...Was so hoping she'd stick around for a few more decades and fill our ears with her soulful music

If you'll go to iTunes and go to the iTunes Music Festival in London....scroll down to July 20th to Dionne Bromfeld (she was amy w's 15yr old god daughter) click to watch the show and go to around the 23 minute mark and listen to this young lady sing Mama Said. She brings Amy out as a surprise guest for the audience. She looks so happy dancing around while her god daughter sang. This was 3 days before her death.
