I am pretty sure I have read some posts on this in the past but figured I would post another.

How does one find jobs in the gambling affiliate industry?

Why not try making your linkedin profile into a pdf and send it to the companies you want to work for.

You can friend or join their groups on linkedin and contribute, show what you can bring to the table.

If you dont have a resume, get one written, make a list of every single company you are interested in, and send it. If you dont hear back, follow up with a phone call. The next week send it again. Start with that. My Two Cents

You'd apply the same as for any other job - check the jobs websites of the companies that you'd be interested in working for and see if they have any vacancies. Also check out the various iGaming recruiters - Simmo already mentionned Pentasia, and there's also Betting Appointments and Gamma Gaming, amongst others. Having experience as an affiliate is definitely a positive.

Thank you guys - those were very helpful answers. I took a look at all those sites you guys suggested. SO far nothing seems to stick out. I mean nothing that is in my region - Canada. It all appears to be in UK or some offshore place. Looking to work from home if possible..

Over the years you have spoken and communicated with many affiliate managers. If you are serious go thru them all one by one and ask... I'd say its like many positions, knowing people and being in the right place at the right time.

Yeh like Stephen said best idea would probably be to speak to the AM's you already know/work with. There are gaming companies in Canada, but depends on where you are and if they are close to you. There are some companies that have work from home affiliate manager positions but they aren't as common as office based. although it think it would be harder to get a work from home position at a junior level. I guess it is quite difficult just to walk into an AM position, i think a lot of people started on in customer care and worked their way up. But I do know affiliates who has switched to the dark side.

Thanks Elaine yeah I am doing research as we speak here in Canada. Ideally at home would be perfect, but I would be willing to be in an office here in Toronto if the opportunity presented itself. Customer Care is not so bad itself, but being an affiliate for seven years I would think an AM position would be more suitable and rewarding.

If you don't mind moving to Malta, I think there should be openings there, if you have another language it is also a + when trying to become an aff manager. If you can handle the alcohol is also a very big +
