    Default New Horseracing Market at Extrabet

    From December 26 2010 the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) ceased to use the term ‘a distance’ as an official term when calculating the margin by which horses have been beaten. Up until 26 December 2010, lengths had been declared on margins up to 30 lengths with margins greater than 30 lengths being declared ‘a distance’.
    </br>
    As a result of this change, effective 26 December margins will be declared up to 99 lengths, with margins greater than 99 lengths appearing as ‘99+’. With this more accurate method of measuring finishing distances the way has been paved to introduce a new horse race spread betting daily market. Currently, as part of our ‘Daily Markets’ offering extrabet.com offer a ‘winning lengths’ market. This market will continue to operate as normal, however in addition to the ‘winning lengths’ market on all British National Hunt fixtures we will also be offering an ‘unlimited winning lengths’ market.
