Default How many new customers per month?

Just dutifully completed my Ladbrokes/Coral survey and was interested by the "How many new customers do you generate over all brands per month" type question.

Not sure why I'm taking the time to do this as polls only ever seem to attract 6 answers anyway! But here goes...

Yeah I spotted that too - thought it was a little cheeky of them to ask in a survey about their affiliate program. Sneakily trying to identify market share, perhaps?

Oh and to answer your questions, it's definitely one of those options.

Hmm, your version of being a cynic may have been more accurate than mine. I thought they were just deciding who to listen to and whose answers to crumple up and go for a three-pointer in the e-bin.

    Bit of both, perhaps?

I think the number of new depositors is not so important. I mean... it is, but some people make more money with 20FTD than others with 100.
I'd like to have some stats about how much people make per active player in a month

There are obviously lots of important factors, including how many of your customers stick around, as well as how much those that do spend, this was just one question.

Different affiliates have different target markets. In some niches volume is important, in others it can be more about quality. Neither is right or wrong.

I'd love to know which sites get between 1001-4000 NDP per month?

4000+ per month - You would have to find a new country, preferably with a population of 100 million+. That country would need to be new to the internet and gaming friendly.

    I'll stick with 3800!!

I'm earning good money at the moment, but conversions suck. 20 FTD's a month would be fantastic.

Another factor to consider is seasonality - our FTD numbers this time of year are miles away from the peak of the year although in terms of revenue we often see some chunky months as there's fewer bonuses being worked through.

I assume your biggest upswing will be around the majors / Ryder cup?

Majors are the biggest weeks by a long stretch yes, the Ryder Cup less so - I think the average golf punter is after the 50/1 or 100/1 winners which are fairly regular occurrences so 8/11 on USA or Europe doesn't excite so much. This time of year it's mainly die-hard punters who invariably have a fairly full set of relevant bookie accounts so conversions are a tougher ask.
