BankrollMob.com - Misleading Affiliate terms

Wanted to let everyone know about a problem I'm having with BankrollMob.com.

Signed up for an account to promote a few of their bankroll offers on my site. At no point during the process did they indicate that they would require ID or any additional information from me.

They convert terribly, so I removed their links and attempted to cash out the money I had made. They don't offer any US-friendly methods, so I requested to a MB account.

Then support emails me saying they will need a copy of my ID and a picture of me holding it. I have little interest in releasing such personal information to a random free bankroll site. I am not requesting a bankroll.

Don't you think affiliate programs should disclose that they will require such things to cash out BEFORE they let you promote their site? Does this seem like a necessary security step on their part or just a hoop designed to make it difficult for people to cash out their earnings?

By the way, this is over > $100. Just the principle.

Resolved by manual intervention, but I'd still be wary of this because it doesn't seem like it would have been solved if I didn't make a couple of threads. I had already gone back and forth a few times with support and only got resolution due to escalation.

Hi Guys

I feel i have to jump in on this thread, I have know and worked with these guys for over 5 years the owners are also very good friends of mine and i feel that I can confirm 100% that there is nothing dodgy about bankrollmob.com.

I actually spoke to the owners on Friday when i saw this thread and they had told me that one of the support guys had made a mistake and thought that the affiliate was a player and that requesting ID ect from players is a normal practice they have.

I think the threads have nothing to do with the reason why this issue was fixed, i think the reason the issue has now been dealt with is because it was genuine mistake.

Good post Shaun - BankrollMob have always been good guys so I was suprised at the thread.

Anyway, it's good that is was a miscommunication
