Any new emerging market/trend?

As everyone here is somehow involved in the online casino industry, I am sure this question will be interesting to discuss.
Both affiliates and operators are looking for new trends, new jurisdictions, new markets, or anything brand new segment as once was bitcoin gambling.

So, now? Where are we heading? Any new emerging markets? What would be the next big thing within gambling?

still what is there you see will be trending? bitcoin gambling is still limited due to volatile bitcoin rate and its complexity is an issue too. Maybe there some new categories of players emerging?

A first-to-market opportunity (or first mover advantage) is great for affiliates because the early bird gets the worm: get in first and get the players first.

Why your think, that you be the first affiliate on this markets?
You may be first affiliate from english-speaking word, but this
not equal to be the first. For example China and Asian market contain tons off brands
targeting on this market. And tons of local affiliates and agents.

From an SEO perspective, position yourself to achieve a higher rank with a series of preferred keywords and being one of the first to get in and make an impression with them. These early bird affiliates will have access to keywords that bring in the highest-revenue players and give the biggest ROI in this type of unsaturated market.

Your wrote about high-ranking keywords, this is nothing new. People who read your article, and who don't know anything about emergency markets, may think that the rules of the game is the same as on English speaking market. This is far away from true. Some countries block search Engines like "Google" (Mainland China).
Some asian search engines don't show results for "high-ranking gambling keywords" (like Chinese Baidu). Internet providers from most of asian countries block online casinos, sportsbooks and affiliate sites. Players from many LATAM and Asian countries have problem with payments methods.


For example - i work on LATAM markets (with one of income access brand), i have tonns of traffic from several LATAM countries by high-ranking keywords. But conversation is very very low, becouse this is very hard for players to make deposits from they local bank cards.

Affiliates that have experience buying ads (PPC or media buys) can use some of their techniques from higher competition markets to buy traffic in newer, emerging markets higher competition markets to buy traffic in newer, emerging markets

Maybe you give me url of PPC, where i can buy traffic for China for example?

From our perspective the article is focusing on EU affiliates looking to enter growing markets, the likes of Asia and South America. While you are correct that these markets aren’t necessarily new for affiliates currently working within them, they do present future opportunities for affiliates looking to branch out of the EU with the knowledge they’ve acquired.

Affiliates are a huge reason why the market in the EU is flourishing. There is no reason to think that EU affiliates, given you do the proper research and align yourself with forward thinking brands, can’t help forge the continued growth of these markets. While there are challenges, brands in the Asian and South American markets can highly benefit from working closely with affiliates that have help form the strong industry that exists in Europe.

Affiliates are not new to having to deal with constraints in given markets, and while entering a market like the Asian market may be more of a long term play than one that you will make big money on in the short term, just as the affiliates that took a flyer on the EU market early in the game, affiliates that get set up now only stand to benefit from markets that will hopefully become easier to work in.

By no means does that mean that the opportunities are easily available in these markets, but affiliates looking to branch out the EU are starting to look at the Asian and South American markets based on feedback we’ve received at recent conferences and conversations we’ve been having.

I would personally suggest anything in Balkans, as they will be the last to enter an EU market, so you could steal a slice of aff market out there.

And just go mobile as this is getting popular every day and it is quite important now.

P.S. Russian market is good, but casino and poker is already overwhelmed with affiliates, binary options is still OKish, but there are brokers with 10$ deposit, which will make your life harder in earning more than in UK market for example.

Not sure if mobile gaming could be still considered trending, but for sure its getting more and more popular.
