Sweden for Quarterfinal !!!

[Henrik - GNUF]

Sweden has a important game tonight against Russia.
So we at Gnuf will have a bit of a party.

If you are a Gnuf affiliate and PM the predicted result of the game to me you will be bumped up to a 50% rev share for the month of July.

If not a Gnuf affiliate, sign up and predict the score and you can win a 3 month 50% rev share.

Cheers

Go Sweden.

Ps. Doesn't have to be a Sweden win score to win, but I hope that will be the case"

You don't have to face David Villa in this game, so I like your chances.

[Henrik - GNUF]

1-0 to russia after first half.... terrible game by sweden so far.
1 beer for me and I hope the ball will go Swedens way.

Henrik, looks like you have had two beers, which were not quite in favor of your country.

[Henrik - GNUF]

Hands up... no excuses here. Team played shite. I actually think I could have played better footie with the X number of beers that we ended up drinking. Well only 2 years to the next World Cup and 4 years to the next Euro Cup.

Thought Russia played very well. But they are the youngest team in Euro2008 while the Swedes are the oldest so perhaps no surprise. Unlucky

[Henrik - GNUF]

Wouldnt even call it unlucky... they where sadly better then us on all levels this game.
But fun to see a young team do well. Holland Russia in the next round could be fun to watch.

Glad no one of the betters had 2-0 to russia then, would almost have been worth a reduction in rev share hehe

[PartnerJ]

hehe sweden not lucky this time

the russian bears made it

[Henrik - GNUF]

In my humble and totally unbiased view of this, we are never lucky. We always have to struggle against bad refs, sickness and injuries. So whenever we win it is almost like a act of defiance against the almighty himself... just see the injustice in the Spain Vs Sweden game

As I said... completely unbiased.

Hehe...

My personal view on this is that all the Swedish players wanted to get home and celibrate our midsummer festival here in Sweden. Drink schnapps and sing stupid songs. Almost like being a sports fan

[YuraK]

He-he, you should hire a lucky coach as we did .
Hiddink managed to win Holland and we expect some more nice surprises with Spain .

[Henrik - GNUF]

Lucky or good, our coach is quite stable and take us to the Championships, but we never really perform out of our expected goal which is sad.

I liked the way Russia played, speed and creative on the offense. Thought you had a tough game against Holland but clearly played better then them even though I thought they would win after that late equalizer. Holland had prior to that game been the best games to watch in the competition.

Good luck against Spain, a Russia vs Germany final is not to distant away.
