PlayUnited has joined the fiasco
Hello fellow webmasters...
I received the following email from our good friends at PlayUnited:
Dear MagyckSysop,
In light of NETeller's decision to restrict USD transactions, we can no longer
process your affiliate payments via NETeller.
We continue to strongly recommend an alternative that we have coordinated with
PaySpark.com. This payment solution is only available by request through Earn
United and it offers several unique benefits including MasterCard purchase
transactions, ATM cash withdrawals, and online account management.
If you would like to receive your commission payment using this unique method,
you MUST confirm with our Accounting Department at payments@earnunited.com and
we will follow up with the next steps involved to activate your new account.
Other alternatives to receive payments are via wire or check in EUR or GBP
currencies. To choose either check or wire, please login to your account and
update your preferred payment method.
Best regards,
Ryan King
Program Manager
Here is my reply to Mr.King:
This whole U.S. online gambling fiasco is absolutely ridicules!!!
A few affiliate programs are making it even more difficult for U.S. affiliates by offering payments in EURO/British Pound and Canadian dollars.
Please understand, I realize the position online casinos outside of the U.S. are in right now but I have always trusted EarnUnitied to be fair and honest with both the players and affiliates.
There are still many casinos offering payment alternatives such as Click2Pay, ACH, and checks in U.S. Dollars.
As a U.S. affiliate, I too am in a difficult position and I have to also make some decisions I am not happy with. One of those decisions is which online casinos I will continue to promote.
Even tapping into the international gambling community will offer me nothing in return if I cannot be paid for my efforts.
In conclusion, I will continue to promote the EarnUnited labels throughout February in hopes that other payment arrangements can be made. Otherwise I will be forced to cease all future ads, promotions and endorsements of your brands.
Thank you for the past support.
MagyckSysop
Personally I feel that some are using this opportunity to weasel out of paying the hard working U.S. affiliates… Does anyone else here feel that some of these affiliate programs are taking advantage of this crisis?
Please reply to this thread with your opinions
By the way...
Thank goodness for sites such as the GPWA!!!

I Received the following reply from Ashley at PlayUnited
Hi Magyck,
The arrangement we have with PaySpark will enable you to be paid and receive your earnings in USD. This is an offer only available through Earn United which is why you received this reply from PaySpark. If you would like to use this method of payment, please confirm with us and we will ship your card within 24 hrs.
Thanks,
Ashley MacLaren
Finance Manager

If I can get paid from PlayUnited in USD...
I shall retract my statement the "PlayUnited Has Joined the Fiasco"
(In all fairness.... PlayUnited has always been fair to me and players in the past)
However, there are still affiliate programs only offering payment in NON-USD
(FortuneAffiliates for one)
The dust is still settling from Netreller's announcement earlier this month...
So it is a wait and see with our favorite and most trusted casino affiliate programs

I received the same email. I was pleased to see that they were concerned about getting affiliates paid, and taking steps to ensure that there was an avenue available so that we can get paid.
I give them a thumbs up on this.
Did I miss something?
I don't understand the anomosity in your reply to Ryan.
Please folks, Don't shoot first and ask questions later.
I don't think everyone is out to get us.
It's a tough period, and everyone is still trying get re-organized.
JMO, of course.

I think the concern is an unwillingness to pay in USD.
I just want to get paid any commission I am able to earn in this environment... I dont blame these guys at all for not dealing in USD.
