How to own up to mistakes
The Airbnb crew have had a few issues over the last month or so and didn't really deal with them in a good way. After a few people pointed out that they dropped the ball it looks like they have made good. A perfect example of the power of the online world.
This is a good example of how to own up to a problem (albeit a tad late), advise the steps implemented to avoid it in the future and show accountability by the CEO publishing his email address and inviting people to contact him if they have a problem. Pity a few online gambling business and associated affiliate programs can admit mistakes like these guys. It's not really that difficult to just say something like, "We stuffed up and have created processed to hopefully stop it in the future."
