Default Should Lance Armstrong be stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles?

Lance Armstrong is banned by the USADA for doping charges where he hasn't once failed a drug test. Armstrong claims the USADA is on a witch-hunt and that he won't fight the charges because he believes it won't be fair.

Everyone has their opinions but should Armstrong be stripped of his 7 Tour de France titles?

NO! Total BS! Can't blame him for giving up the fight though.

No! I think it's just ridiculous to go back in time that far. If test weren't accurate back then, just face it and focus on the present and future.

I don't know much about it other than the snippets I've heard in the last few days, but it really doesn't make sense to me how he could be banned if he hasn't failed a drugs test....

I think it is a bit extreme to to strip him of all seven titles.

Feel really bad for him if he is innocent, but just can't imagine someone accepting that harsh of a punishment for something they didn't do.
I did read a bit about it recently, but without any failed drug tests was the investigation based entirely on witness testimonies or did they have something more concrete?

For those that think he shouldn't be banned because he never failed a test, that in itself is not evidence that he didn't cheat. Don't forget, athletics drug-cheats like dwayne chambers, marion jones etc never failed a drug test for years and years but they were still doping. Plus Lance DID fail drug tests twice, for EPO and cortizone - The idea that Lance Armstrong would stand down from a fight he thought he could win is unthinkable.

Personally I think the man is a liar, a cheat and a bully who has amassed a personal fortune off the back of conning fans and sponsors and the sport of cycling

Oh ok, I'd heard he never failed any tests. If he failed the tests before why didn't they ban him at the time rather than wait until now?

"In 2005, a French newspaper reported that Armstrong's 1999 urine samples had retroactively tested positive for the "blood booster" Erythropoietin (EPO), a banned substance that couldn't yet be detected in urine tests in 1999. But because the 2005 urine tests were not conducted according to official standards, the results had no effect on Armstrong's standing."

A man that could become a mark on sports due to his life history will become known by the one that lost everything after 600 urine tests and 6 years of evolution in technology...

    Pretty silly for me...

That's just silly. Since he hasn't failed the test, why would they not only ban him, but also strip of all titles? Don't they have to demonstrate some proofs?

Unless of course, he knew in advance when the tests were and unless of course the retrospective urine test found traces of EPO but that things were 'kept quiet' after Lance donates thousands of dollars to the UCI......

Very much 'Case Still To Answer'

But mysteriously, Lance has decided not to answer those claims against him. How odd.
