Any Football Website Owners??

[davestar057]

Hi,

Does anybody here run/own and make money on a Football/Sports site?
I am running a site www . footballfallout . com - and its averaging around 4k visits a day now, completely organic.
I have been focusing making the site a genuinely valuable resource that stands out from the crowd by actually adding value!...I have a LOAD of new features coming to the site soon too, including exlusive community features to build members.

I would like to start monetizing the site - I put some Google Adsense on there, but I know this is not the way to go in the long term. But also not sure what avenue to go down - I am thinking sponsored ad positions - but who do you approach to sell these to?

Anybody else been here before? Any tips? Any help much appreciated.

Hey Dave,

Nice looking site and plenty of decent content too - great job!

Posting here is a good start to getting commercial conversations with affiliate managers as many of them will hanging around and contact you. Have you approached any programmes directly and signed up to affiliate programmes yet? If not then you definitely should... most of them will review your site first and I can;t see why they wouldn't accept your site. After you get accepted you'll be able to pick up banners and links and importantly - negotiated a better commercial deal!

Good Luck!

Have a look at what sites like 101greatgoals.com do, they're established and the model obviously works for them; https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/q...ive-streaming/

Look from where is mostly your traffic and sign up on 10 to 15 programs and start to monetize that 4 k per month.

Sponsored post will not make you bilionaire.

Ask as much queastion as you can regarding programs and type of deals.

The site is good. Keep up the good faith and spirit )))

Decide if it's a football site or a fantasy football site.

Fantasy players are quite demanding and already have tons of quality resources.
