Try as on forum to put a small preview with link to website. It's not good to put the same everywhere... Article from your website must be unique and only on your website.

Most forums WORTH reading do not allow blatant promotions...

However, if you develop a following of readers and have a link in your sig or profile, you can and may get some traffic that way.

Since the question is about whether traffic from betting forums is valuable, yes it may be, but be sure to check the terms of service at the specific forum since if it is a better forum, it may well be run by affiliates and they may have terms that do not allow promoting your website, but they may offer advertising alternatives.

I don't think most forums that would contain the pool of your target audience would allow a lot of advertising through threads and posts etc, probably more likely banner placements etc for a hefty fixed price depending on how much traffic the forum generates. You could buy an ad spot for one month and gauge whether you've made a positive return on your investment.

sentenello> it doesn´t work these days to add your site to free directorie (like a few years ago). What is harder to obtain a link, it is worth more.. Try to contribute valuable content, even with links to valuable content on your site..
