Hostinger: love or hate?

Hi everyone!

When it comes to hosting WordPress websites, I had been using Hostinger hosting company for a long time now for all my websites, all cloud-based (not hosted in a basic shared hosting)

I found their GUI convenient and their client support above expectations, so I stuck with them.

Any personal or controversial review about this hosting provider? There are bigger names out there (especially in the WordPress world) and it may not be the first choice here, but honestly apart from a few downtime here and there (but who's got 100% uptime right?), I cannot really complain. And customer support is indeed important to me, they helped me fixing weird issues.

So wondering about your own hosting experience

I have a friend thats also using Hostinger and has nothing but good to say. I dont have experience with them but what works works right ?

Never liked them...

Better of with a smooth and fast VPS from OVH, Hetzner, or Linode.

Hate it, that LiteSpeed Cache destroyed my sites.. Prefer to use OVH!

I've always been using HostGator and I've never had any issues with them. They're reliable and not too expensive.

Hostinger are fine for smaller sites, we've use them for a few bits for years.


Just watched that renewal fee - they draw you in with the massive discount and then it renews for a much higher rate.

Not a big fan, as others have stated. Drawn in by massive discount and then renews. But you can still if you are fast with it manage to continue to snag some decent discounts, could be good for a proof of concept site. Went down the route of setting up small VPS for most of our sites instead.

Hostinger is a great choice for hosting websites on WordPress. Connecting to WordPress is very fast and there are detailed instructions.
