Default What percentage of your profit do you re-invest

Hey all. Thought it would be interesting to find out how much of your profit do you re-invest back into your affiliate sites and where you re-invest?

Do you re-invest your profit into SEO, design, development, starting new sites or PPC? Or do you just blow it all on beer?

It really depends on the circumstances. I doubt it's a set % number for anyone, there could be similar numbers when you look at a bigger time frame like a year or two.

It really comes down to necessity for investment, probable brand term changes (excluding/including countries), reports on conversion, loss/gain of keyword rank etc. If I am required to I will blow even all of it for improvement. After all trial and error makes you achieve progress and progress helps you develop.

    Hey xecutable,

Yes I was talking more in terms of on average rather than a set amount. As you said it will always be different dependant on multiple factors. I guess you've always got to speculate to accumulate

On average, I'd say 10% but again that's very vaguely put. It will depend on your profit as well. Obviously certain costs would be a bigger percentage if your profit is smaller.

10% now that my sites are a little more established but prior to them making decent money I would plow back up to 50% of my earnings. Mainly it goes to seo, design and launching new sites.

I agree that it depends on your needs.

I'm also pretty new to gambling affiliate websites. I invested more in the last months. But it also brings better results. Faster server, more websites and seo. The seo part takes time before I can see the results.

    More than one.

If you are setting up a network of sites specifically for SEO and trying to use some sites to promote others... your gonna run afoul of google.
This method worked well a few years ago, but now trying to build a network specifically for SEO will get your entire network banned/penalized rather quickly, unless your willing to go big and get a bunch of different Class B IP's.

Better now to just build every site with the intent of converting... and avoid excessive cross linking between your own domains.
Of course this just my opinion...

Yes I agree it's a good idea to build sites with genuine intent i.e to convert players. But I see so many webmasters with massive portfolios of bingo sites, yet most of them are just stuffed with nonsense content.

I only have 2 sites myself and only try to convert with one. The other is just a link builder on another host so completely separate. I just figured that was the way to go as everyone else seems to be doing it and presumed most peoples revenue they reinvested would go into that. As it's not cheap to start a new site from scratch and get additional content written for it.

When you just started your business and it is in ramping up stage it is reasonable to re-invest 100%

Very little. I can either spend time or money. Right now I'd rather put more time into my sites. I'm sure that will change though.
