New top gear

So the new Top Gear less Jeremy and Co is being shown on South African TV Tonight is it worth a watch ?

I was in love with the old Series but it seems the new version is getting slammed ?

Is it just new and people need to get used to it or was it sooo bad ?

Awful, especially Chris Evans.

Matt Le Blanc did ok, in my opinion should take lead.

Terrible, The extras done a better job it's lost all of it's humor & wit it was always going to be tough to replicate they should of killed it off then comeback with something original.. can't wait for the new Amazon version

Chris evans annoys me too much to even watch it.

I imagine it was awful.

Shockingly bad. I wasn't expecting much but it was very dull. Matt LeBlanc was fine (surpisingly) and could've worked well with better cohosts.

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but feel as though i'm too much of a Clarkson et al fan to even bother!

Ye watched it Lat night as it stared OK they have kept the same feel about the Gimmicks the Team pull and the cars are still amazing just find that Chris tries too hard to be just like jeremy maybe i will warm to it but not sure turned off half was got a bit bored wich never happened in the past not sure if it will succeed but lets see

I just couldn't get past half an hour in, what a load of s**t.

The production values and editing is of course amazing as you would expect for a multi-million show but the presenters are a huge let down. Evans is basically too nice, we liked Clarkson because he is obnoxious.

I should have guessed I would hate it because I hate Evans stupid Radio 2 show

I forgot it was on so haven't seen it yet but from what friends were saying, it's trying too hard to be like the last series with Clarkson and doesn't quite come off. Perhaps they should have been radical with the format.

I think the new Top Gear will not overcome the old one with Clarkson and Hammond so a part of me doesn't want to watch it but another part says: "Well, give it a try".

I kind of don't want to ruin my good old memories of this show by watching this "remake" but I will probably end up doing it anyway
