There is an interesting article on Slate.com about the impact that Google's "Quick Answer" feature is having on SEO.
The article uses the search query "what time does the superbowl start?" as an example to explore the topic, so it seemed especially interesting for those of you who are currently pushing hard on Super Bowl traffic.
Here is the link to the article: http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_te...trump_seo.html
Prompted by this, I checked out the whois info for whattimedoesthesuperbowlstart.com, which is the first link result that Google listed when I did a search just a moment ago (below the Quick Answer result). But unfortunately the whois is private so I can't commend the webmaster directly. If you're reading this, two things:
1) It looks like you have the wrong time. Other sources (such as the NFL) say kickoff is 6:30 EST but you're listing it as 6:00pm EST. Correct your site, and;
2) congrats on the position and I hope you're getting some good results in terms of monetizing it. There are a number of affiliate programs here who'd love your traffic if AdSense isn't bringing in what you were hoping it would.![]()
