Wordpress (Responsivo) Newbie Question

I'm brand new to the world of Wordpress and I'm trying to move an old site to Wordpress with a whole new look. I purchased the Responsivo theme in hopes it may be easier to manipulate for a beginner but I'm already stuck on basic layout. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to move the right side navigation menu to the left side. Does anyone have experience with this theme or know how to do this? Anyone know of an easy tutorial to learn Wordpress?

I would say that the Responsivo theme is for the more experienced WordPress user. I also found it to be very resource intensive. I never used it on a live site as I found it too busy looking for my type of site. There must be a setting somewhere inside theme settings that will allow you to change things around. Just remember that the theme is responsive so certain changes may not be possible in order to keep it's dynamic style.

Have to admit I don't know much about these special themes, but you can build stuff the way you want with builders like Thrive and Divi. There' still a learning curve though, and I think building those common tables might not be easy/so straightforward.

Unfortunately not. I work with Responsivo too and I am about to change it. Reason: it's a nice-looking shell, but technical it's not ok. It is missing some crucial and even quite basic features, it's flexible like a rock and it works with other elements like Mario Balotelli.

It's typical a theme that is made to try to make some quick money with a nice looking shell, but without doing some resource about that gambling affiliate websites are really about. If you look for a standard theme, I'd prefer Flytonic. It may look a bit more 2010, but it's way more functional, flexible and the support is better.

Also to learn and to understand Wordpress, it's better to start with a theme that is build up logical. Flytonic themes are, Responsivo-themes honestly are not.

Thanks for all the responses. I will definitely have a look at the link for learning WordPress. I will take a look at the Flytonic theme as well. My site hasn't had much done to it in close to 10 years and I'm hoping to resurrect it somewhat and figured WordPress is the way to go. I really don't have a lot of time to learn it currently so I'm thinking maybe I should just update my HTML site or possibly pay for a redesign.
