Advice regarding purchase of site but non transfer of Social Media

Hi all

Last year I went through a very lengthy purchase of a site. The guys selling it were slow and unreliable.

Anyway, I've got the site, but suddenly realised that they didnt transfer the Twitter feed (22.5k followers). I decided to have a look at it and surprise surprise, they are still using the Twitter feed with their own links.

The Twitter feed belongs to me and was included in the sale.

I've tried to email them, but the emails have bounced back as not known.

Any ideas? They've opened Aff accounts at William Hill, Betfred and BetVictor.

Its all a little naughty and tiresome.

They do not own the twitter feed, they just have access to the admin email and the password for the account, and although they may have promised to transfer it, my guess there is very little you could do to force it.

You can't go to twitter and get their help, since it is against their terms to "sell an account".

I would think there is no "legal remedy" since "buying the account" breaks Twitter's TOS.

If the Twitter account is registered on your domain u can add an email catch all and request a password change
