    Default What Affiliate?

I used the search function but i dont seem to get the search i wanted.
I read many threads and somehow I am stuck and I think somebody can answer my question.

As a website owner there are man different bookmakers, casinos that offer affiliate systems.
But I am not sure which affiliate to choose?

I always though using popular bookmaker like bet-at-home for exampel is agood idea.
On the other hand, most users probably already know bet-at-home, so i wount get any new registered users.

Would it be better to take a new bookmaker? A unknown one that attracts customers and i so benefit more?

I really appreciate any answer or links to answers!

    Thank you

depends what sort of site you will be running, what you're traffic is like and why they are coming to your site in the first place.

due to my model I have a wide variety of bookmakers as this is what searchers expect and are looking for so i benefit by sending lots of customers to newer brands but also a players to longer more established places where they seem to stick more.

if for example you were a football tipster then someone like betvictor could be a good option due to their excellent odds (this is an example btw before people jump on the post moaning about betvictor)

if you give a more bits of info you'll probably get better answers

oh and i can't wait for begging posts after this offering you sub-affiliate links like they are doing you a favour

Well if it is out of line providing an affiliate link along with a personal recommendation for an affiliate program, I guess it should also be out of kine to provide an affiliate link when recommending a casino or sportsbook to a player.

Do you REALLY think you will benefit more from recommending small, unknown, possibly dodgy licensed operators?
I mean how will you know to trust them?

Are you putting your readers / customers first? Or are you simply trying to make money out of them.

Do you think that you will be able to convince people to deposit money and play at an "unknown" bookmaker ahead of the bookmakers that they already know about ? Do you have the knowledge and writing skills to achieve this?

OR will readers simply decide to ignore your obvious sales pitch and go with a bookmaker that they "trust"?

think you maybe missing the point slightly, a new bookmaker doesn't have to small or unknown

for example when 32red started pushing sports with a new purpose built site and welcome bonus, they are new so numbers fly in, same with genting as another example

I can see why an affiliate might be tempted to push newer or slightly lesser know bookmakers or casinos, but it is risky and I agree that reputation among players is a key metric that should be looked at.

Like the bookieoffers stated though a casino with a good reputation that would add a bookmaker, or a bookie that later added a casino is safer then a complete unknown.

thank you very much for taking time and responding!

well i did not think i shoudl present a "dodgy bookmaker" but there are like 600 bookmakers online available, 5 - 10 are the most popular bookmakers.
so there are many good, long existing bookmakers available for affiliate.

I just wanted to really think about everything before regsitering quick at any bookmakers, and adverstising and doing stuff, fast, fast, fast...
i rather think about all posibilities and listen to users that can tell and help one at GPWA.

I jsut mean for example if i am allowed to say the name bet365 is like the best bookie but everybody is registered there anyway so i will not get any new registering customers. And in case of making money with affiliates, i need newly registered mebmers so i am better of having not a top 10 boomaker on my page so users register there as they don't have an account there already?!
    That was may idea.

that is exactly waht i mean, i posted an affiliate link with a unknown bookie and received some clicks and registered customers and was supprised.
Becaues with the top-bookie i only had few clicks and not any registered customers at all. So i assumed that this would be because every user that i attract at my website allready is registered at that bookmaker.

@thebookieoffers - Thank you for your time and postings!

Yes there is a risk that promoting the better known bookies in the prominent positions on your site will end up showing advertising to bookies which they may already have an account at.

But a smaller number of players at bookies which you can trust to "take better care of the players and treat them more fairly" as well as having a good reputation of paying affiliates will usually make you more money than taking on greater risk with lesser known bookies that might be new among your visitors.

The more traffic you have the more you can take on some of that risk such as adding bookies in lower positions on your pages, but try and research them as much as possible. (such as asking if your fellow affiliates here at the GPWA has heard of them or have any experience promoting them)

I would say I'm in the same position and have few questions regarding this issue: choosing affiliate programs. I'm at the very beginning - I have a domain and hosting, logo, website structure, wrote the first article. When would be the best time to start adding brands? If someone has recommendations, please PM me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys!

Start adding brands right away, although the traffic may be low, you might get lucky and get a player here or there with the occasional visitor.

My Advice is to be through to yourself and post the ones you like the most yourself. Every minute someone turns 18 and wants a new account at for example Bet365. So to say that everyone already have an account isnt true.

But if you have a wide variety of bookmakers it wont hurt if you tell your visitors what to expect from the different bookies.

Decided to change CPA network to RunCpa, cuz the previous one gave immense amount of fraud. I liked the cost per lead scheme. From the beginning, I didn’t know the exact amount for the campaign cost, so I gave a minimum deposit to start the campaign, they launched and I started getting brand new leads. When in the middle of the campaign my deposit finished, they didn’t stop though, I kept getting new leads, and only when I converted them into deals, I paid for the rest of the money. They are also using an appealing revenue share model. All in all, I’m happy now and would recommend these guys to everyone.

Just my two cents worth but for me one Bet365 customer is worth more than five others at a small lesser known bookmaker. Retention is second to none.
