Question 2 years Journey as an affiliate, Need Help

I've been working on winningspinslots for the past two years and have published 150+ articles, all written by me. Before getting into SEO, I worked in the slot game industry, so I have a good understanding of how slot games are designed and how they work behind the scenes. I've tried to use that knowledge to create genuinely useful content.
The problem is that I'm still relatively new to SEO, and despite consistently publishing content for two years, I haven't been able to grow the site the way I expected.
According to Ahrefs, my site gets 0 estimated organic traffic, but Google Search Console tells a different story. Over the last three months, I've received around 33,000 impressions and 1,500 organic clicks.
One thing I've intentionally avoided is targeting a single country. My thinking was that if I focused entirely on one market and something happened—such as regulatory changes or losing visibility in that country—my entire business would be at risk. Instead, I've tried to build content that could rank globally.
The biggest frustration is that I still haven't earned anything from the site.
On the affiliate side, I typically send 100–200 clicks per month to casino programs, but I haven't had a single First-Time Depositor (FTD).
Is that normal in the iGaming affiliate industry, or should I be concerned that some of the casinos might be shaving commissions?
I'd really appreciate hearing from experienced iGaming affiliates. Is 100–200 clicks with zero FTDs something that happens, or is it a sign that something is wrong with my traffic, offers, or tracking?

well not all clicks created equal.
you need to check which keywords you are getting traffic for. if its play free slots online for instance, then naturally those players are less likely to make a deposit.
Best casinos to play slot machines online for real money. Reviews of best Real Money Casinos online.
Check OnlineBlackjackExplorer for ratings of the best casinos to play blackjack online. Which games offer the lowest house edge, as well as free blackjack games, live dealer and mobile blackjack sites.

There is also a lot of bot traffic about these days - both search engine and AI bots.

As an example - I had 37000 reads for a match preview between France and Morocco today - but thanks to a bit of code I put in the site I was able to detect that 33500 of those reads were done by "users" that had AI bot USER AGENTS ... they were not real people.

These bots will click your links too - so if you send out 100 clicks - maybe less than 10 are human.

Also insure hrefs is the exact https://www. or variation, but google reporting 1500 clicks (7 or 30 days?) is a bit of a positive if growing

If you have google analytics then check the duration of visit by country, that may give you a clue where the bot/irrelevant traffic is coming from.

Question I have not focused on any GEO is this really a blocker for growth?

I've been running my slot review website, for the past two years. I've published all the content myself, but the site hasn't grown as expected, and I haven't earned any revenue from it yet.
One thing I'm unsure about is market targeting. I haven't focused on a specific country because my plan was to see which market started bringing in traffic naturally, and then concentrate my efforts there. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened, and I'm not getting meaningful traffic from any particular market.
Is it really necessary to focus on a single target market from the beginning? Also, if I optimize my website for one country and it later becomes restricted or inaccessible there, how difficult would it be to shift my focus to another market? How long does that transition typically take?

You don't have to pick one market from day one, but it usually speeds things up - search intent, payment methods, and licensing relevance all differ by country, so "neutral" content often ends up not ranking well for anyone specifically.

Two years with zero revenue is more of a positioning issue than a geo issue though. Worth checking GSC: are you getting real organic traffic with no conversions, or basically no traffic at all? Different problems, different fixes.

Switching markets later is doable, just adds some rework (payment methods, licensing mentions, some geo-relevant backlinks) - not a huge deal, just not instant.

Quick shortcut: whichever market already shows the most impressions in GSC, even a little, lean into that one first instead of guessing blind.
