Hello all! I'm hoping to get a review with suggestions and feedback on https://www.bettingusa.com

A bit of background - BettingUSA.com can legitimately claim to be the first "50 state guide" to all forms of legal online gambling in the United States. A few sites devoted to poker or casino might have existed prior to our launch in 2013 - but we were the first to include all markets (sports, dfs, horse racing, casino, poker, and lottery).

It's a very simple site, and we are getting ready to make some significant updates to it....so I figured it was time for the friendly and helpful members of GPWA to "let us have it". We are not thin skinned, and we welcome constructive criticism and will likely implement suggestions from many of you.

Give the site a look - let us know what we are doing poorly, feel free to mention positives too.

One challenge we have faced is sitewide navigation and user experience. We are currently not navigating well to casino/poker/lottery sections. We are using the flytonic review plugin for review pages, and cta's as they allow us to geotarget to states - however we need to get away from that asap as both geo not working well, and the plugin is not developed or improved and recently changed ownership to a rather spammy company.

Let us have it, I'm really looking forward to suggestions from many of you who put together much more polished websites than we do. Our core weakness as a small company is we build way too many websites, which leads to a lot of simple sites like this that have good content - but poor design, conversions, and navigation. I look forward to reading your input!

My opinion.. you have a good site great content but its let down by the theme,,, this site deserves to have something custom and a fancy UI .

completely agree, I am nervous about the process of finding and hiring the right person to help with that is all.

Phenomenal domain and great content. The theme is fine IMO but the banner needs to be redone and the font type for the entire website should be altered. I'm not a graphics or UI specialist so I can't make a specific recommendation re: banner and font but tbh the theme itself is fine. I disagree that you need a total rehaul. Guess this depends on your budget. I'd rather see you utilize the funds to invest in SEO.

Thanks! I don't think a total rehaul is in order, but we have clearly focused on content with very minimal attention to design, user experience, navigation, conversions, and seo. We're working on that! Design has always been a challenge for me, and so has "hiring" and vetting people to help with it, especially once sites are established. It's time I fix that, because I've coasted along for too long now.

Thanks for the compliments, we have a long way to go on it - build too many sites when we really should be focusing on a handful.
