    Default Inline CSS and SEO

What are your thoughts on Inline CSS?

This will increase the Page load time which is what the users want but what about the old school seo "text-to-html ratio" ?

Discuses please, tidying up an existing site and noticed huge difference on load time when used Inline CSS. Would like to hear what you guys think.

Any speed benefit is outweighed massively by the time cost of inline code maintenance imo.

Also, when it comes to multiple page loads, so 2+ page visits, css files are faster as the css is downloaded once per session, not on every pageview.

I'm in agreement with this as for me I find the gains nominal compared to the hassle of editing. I sometimes run my css through a compressor but make sure it's saved as an easy to read version first that I'll use to make any future edits before re-compressing again.
