    That's terrible.

It's amazing that whenever there is a conference near, or I have to fly for a long period of time, there starts to be so many things happening to airplanes.

Over the last couple of weeks there have been a few incidents with Qantas coming in or going out of Oz.. I hope they get them all sorted before we fly next month

This is a terrible thing for Poland, losing dozens of their society's leaders. Even more distressing is that it occurred on the way to a memorial for thousands of Polish military and political leaders murdered by Stalin's regime in 1940. Finally, it sounds like the pilot or passengers were unwilling to fly to the next airport where the weather was better, which may have avoided the tragedy altogether.

The only good news is that Poland's government has made the changes required by their constitution, without any of the disorder that we've seen elsewhere around the world in the last week. It's a sad day in Poland, but without a civil crisis.

My condolences to any GPWA members from Poland and to nation as a whole.

I can't imagine the pain all those families must be going through.

That scares the hell out of me as I am a frequent flyer with Quantas!!!
I always use Quantas for my trips to New Zealand

A horrible, horrible tragedy, which will is disastrous for a multitude of reasons. Loss of life is the most serious tragedy, but the resultant chaos will have major effects on the region.
