Have we not already been through that in the other thread you started? I don't see the point of having multiple threads about the same thing.

My comment was regarding the links the thread was started about. I don't see what the issue is with them being there if they are tracking.

Pumacat did not know, so in order to make it 100% clear I added my comment.

I feel that it is very important to state what is tracking and what is not because in the end the cross promotion definately has an impact on our commission.

As you work for CR you can not imagine how we feel about having referred valuable players that eventually will know most CR sister casinos via emails or direct casinolinks to casinorewards.com

Mojo : I understand that they are not going to change their model, but that does not mean I have to pretend to like it or shut up about it.

You are right Ixian, at this rate I will have worked 10 years to just have all my players cross promoted to and lead away to another property. What player would not like to be exposed to 30 NEW casinos via a newsletter and not take them up on the offer? They said that the links have a very low click thru rate, but if that's the case then why not work with angry affiliates and improve the relationship?
Most affiliates I know are VERY angry.

casinobonusguy : affiliates have a choice and that choice is to STOP sending them traffic.
If stop sending them traffic is the only solution, then we have to expect more groups trying to do just the same.

OK fine, but instead of derailing a thread and making it into another "noone can decipher this" thread Like the last one, send him a link to the other thread or PM him. If the other thread was more structured, more people would have been able to understand what was written there..

You start posting this stuff in this thread and people get confused and don't read and just jump to conclusions. I posted even in bullet form in the other thread everything that was asked and people still didn't read it. Just more and more got posted by you that made the thread look like an absolute mess.

Also, if you're going to post a list of links that don't track, you should probably check them first, because a few of the links on your list do track - I just tested some of them. Yet another attempt to smear our name in the mud without checking first - just like posting in the other thread that your commissions had dropped since starting the thread when they hadn't and if I hadn't pulled you up privately on that people would have thought we had stolen some players just like you'd have wanted them to believe by reading it.

My last point here is that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of landing pages provided to you guys by us that do not contain any links outside of downloading that casino (even the casino rewards logo downloads the casino) - why aren't you using them?

Once I found out about the casinorewards cross promoting your program lost credibility big time, no wonder I had doubts about my earnings.

IF you think you "own" our players base and it is perfectly OK to cross promote OUR players for free, I do not care at all for your programs good name as you have not earned it in the first place.

Your program is setting a very bad precendent in this industry regarding future affiliate earnings as ONLY YOU have the guarantee that you will earn from those players for life.

You had doubts about your earnings based on nothing in your numbers to back it up!
Your commission was the same as it always was. You just wanted to stir the pot and it backfired when I called you out on it.

    I don't own anything - I'm an employee.

And as a side note, without affiliates I don't have a job. Think about that.

That's a good point. I do not mean to be offensive but I wish every affiliate as a group would essentially stop promoting rewards period. Just everyone grow a pair a nuts(including me) and just say "FxxK Them" "Pxss on them" and then be done with it.. LOL

Not that I want you Renee to lose your job - I know any program with half a brain would pick you up easy! I think your much better then rewards and deserve a better place of employment.

Personally that's my opinion - you could coordinate a whole affiliate program for a company that really does give a ****.

    Rewards doesn't!

Again not directed at you - I personally like you and have no issue with you. Just your management sucks ass.

That's from your point of view..
In any case, this thread is not about me, so let's get off that please.

I have asked why people are not using the landing pages if they are concerned about the websites and links - no answer, but if I didn't answer a question I would be strung from the ceiling and have stones thrown at me.

There are 2 types of complainers. Someone who complains in order to find a solution, and someone who complains for the sake of complaining. I'm starting to think people just like to complain rather than find a solution and this is evident by every single thread being derailed to get a message across, not only here but at other forums.

And on the solution, you all have the choice as you said - if you don't like something you have the ability to change it. That decision is yours and yours alone..

So if there is a solution, why aren't people taking it?

Haha true, good point. Just had to point out how rewards management are dickheads.

Both are two things I have first hand knowledge of... I'm pretty confident they are not the same.

You had doubts about your earnings based on nothing in your numbers to back it up!
Your commission was the same as it always was. You just wanted to stir the pot and it backfired when I called you out on it.
It was then when after April/May when some good players stopped playing in a very short time. I made the wrong assumptions then, there were no audits to prove my assumptions.

My last point here is that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of landing pages provided to you guys by us that do not contain any links outside of downloading that casino (even the casino rewards logo downloads the casino) - why aren't you using them?
I hope you agree that those landing pages only buy some time, players will receive the CR newsletters with all partner casinos and promo emails.

That's a good point. I do not mean to be offensive but I wish every affiliate as a group would essentially stop promoting rewards period. Just everyone grow a pair a nuts(including me) and just say "FxxK Them" "Pxss on them" and then be done with it.. LOL that is what Casinobonusguy said to : stop sending them traffic. I still have some hope that Rewards will realize that the current model is very bad practice.

Not that I want you Renee to lose your job - I know any program with half a brain would pick you up easy! I think your much better then rewards and deserve a better place of employment. 100% true

Rewards needs to change their company strategy fast with so many casinos you have things for us are only getting worse as players have more options from the group to choose.

    You didn't answer my question..

Why aren't you using the landing pages?
Why haven't you taken the solution?

    Hi Renee

Seriously, I would not bother using any of your landing pages as, as it has previously been pointed out, any players derived from them would soon start receiving the dreaded cross promotional "newsletters".

You're a great affiliate manager but it seems to me you're fighting a losing battle as you are going to find it progressively more difficult to defend your company's policy.

Don't you see why then it doesn't make sense that you haven't taken the solution?
This is what I'm getting at. It's ironic.

If I was told that I could eat an orange knowing that later it would cause a stomach upset, I would not eat the orange. Instead people are eating the orange, even though they knew it would upset their stomach, then complaining about it upsetting their stomach. There are 2 types of complainers, remember?

Regarding fighting a losing battle - we can't have it both ways. Either you guys want affiliate managers to participate or you don't.

Why would we when we are scared they may be cross promoted?

I'm not quite sure what you mean here.

Maybe you are being a bit too defensive. We all want affilaite managers to participate, like you do. Some affiliates may just not find the answers acceptable. No offense, business is business.

The solution is something that Steve suggested in one of his posts above - to not eat the orange at all...

I'm not being too defensive.. I'm just saying, you said I'm fighting a losing battle. I took that as "why do you bother posting" or "you may as well not bother posting at all"... Did you mean it in another way?

Landingpages are not a solution for me and others too IMO. Players want to browse thru the sites not being stuck on 1 page. Besides that it only buys time like I said before.

If you look at the Rewards program from an affiliate perspective you can not deny that you would be furious too if you were an affiliate being confronted with this.

How would you feel knowing the program is constantly fishing in our players base for an easy catch (sale), causing damage to future revenues ?

This is simply protecting our part of the agreement, pls keep your hands off what is "ours".

If your cross promoting activities is part of the CR mission statement then write it in bold on your rewardsaffiliates.com website so we know what we can expect.

You are claiming this which is absolutely not true ! :

On the rewardsaffiliates site : "You refer players to our casinos and we share our profits with you forever! "
    No kidding ?!!

Affiliates refer players to (ALL) your casinos............ and what profits exactly do you think is fair to share ?!
