I am looking for a good solid free SEO friendly WP Theme. Please suggestions are very welcome.

Neve is a decent go-to choice and pretty fast in most cases.

Recommendations might at times be contingent on the expertise level of who will be doing the customization etc.

If you want a whole bunch of built in stuff for things like link management, banner management, table creation etc etc, you might be giving up some speed and or options in customizing it to a degree.

If you already have a specific set of plugins and methods you plan on using (whether off the shelf or custom built for you) all you need is a sleek fast theme that is easily customizable with very few if any bells and whistles.

All you need is a general theme, customize it the way you want and add functionality with plugins if you need.

Or you can find a theme someone already has a casino picture or roulette wheel on it and calls it a casino theme.

If you find a theme that has built in functionality you are looking for, it doesn't matter what artwork is already on it, or what market the marketing of the theme said it targets, if it does what you want it to do.

There is no shortage of free WordPress themes that you can use. There are also many great premium themes that don’t cost much.

However, in my experience, themes don’t come SEO-ready. For that, you need to install appropriate SEO plugins. The most important thing when choosing a theme, is to check whether it really suits your requirements, and of course whether it is suitable for online gambling.

Every ready-made theme comes with trade-offs.
All-purpose, popular themes are heavy, especially if bundled with a third-party page builder.
Many less popular themes do not receive updates, and code quality is far from perfect.

So perhaps it's a good option for a proof of concept. But if you want to build a really SEO-friendly site, able to compete in this extremely competitive landscape, you have to design and build custom, preferrably using built-in Gutenberg WordPress features.
As a bonus, you'll get a better editorial workflow and full control over every website aspect.
