I watched and even though I am US it was well played. It was also heartwarming to see them take the win after everything that Japan has been through recently. A much needed boost.

The womens soccer gets a bit of attention here in Germany. I was at a wedding, and this girl was talking about the soccer finals - and I thought she meant a competition she was playing in - then it clicked.. the FIFA womens soccer finals. I think she wanted to leave and go watch football. haha.

What a great great game! I couldnt see it but I read about it, Japan was behind twice in the game and they still managed to win in PKS. They have been the underdog for the last 3 matches! Way to go Japan!

Huge congrats!!! The only English channel here is CNN and they just did a story on them.
Was a bit moving, they inspired themselves after the Japan Tsunami.

Awesome and much needed win for Japan. Very inspiring story, especially after everything Japan has been through recently
