    Default Slight Change In Tracking

This will come to some as music to their ears and I feel that you do need to be informed of this change.

We've taken the decision to change our cookie procedure so that the last referring affiliate is credited with the "sale". This change is live now.

This is more for the purpose of reporting as the current way has been causing some confusion.

Let me know should you have any questions and open a window, you may just hear fictionet (Rob) let out a large yelp in delight of this announcement.

Some will not agree, but I like and fully support this change.

I'll let you know whether I personally like the change after reviewing what happens to the stats ...
But I think it IS the fairest way to do it!

I know what you mean guys. I see the pros and cons to it myself however this could show weaknesses in your sales pitch.

    Sell sell sell.

Stick a big juicy banner for one of our casinos on every page, high up and I'm sure we will see some changes.

For those affiliates who didn't like the previous cookie policy this should change the game for you and put the ball firmly in your court. It also removes any attempt at cookie stuffing as we now award the 'sale' to the last referring affiliate.

What I'm saying by this is that the traffic you are sending will be credited to you if your sales pitch is good and everything corresponds when they arrive at the related site. Give it time as it's only been a week...nearly.

I didn't care one way or another about your policy on cookies.
I was just hoping to see some kind of improvement in my earnings.

But my problem with you guys is not with cookies, I get credit for the sign-ups. I just can't seem to get sign-ups converting to depositors with your program.

My stats with you guys are at about ~1 depositor for every hundred sign-ups ... Sending you more traffic won't fix that.

I like the change. If someone clicked on a link but never made a deposit, the webmaster who finally gets them to deposit should get the credit. This is the fairest way to do it I think and I am happy for the change!

It is not just clicking on a link... the punter actually signs up at the casino then does not deposit... So I do get credit for the sign up (cookie policy).
So I don't care one way or the other about their cookie policy. I don't see any change at all in the number of sign ups I have been getting.

Once the punter is signed up, they are "Tagged" to the aff that signed them up, deposit at the time of sign up or not...
