Not so much the program but the manner it is promoted a.k.a ethics
Hi
Some might know me, most won't. I am sitting here quietly, bleeding as Google has its mean old way with me and my sites
For that reason, I am usually VERY surprised when an affiliate program sends me a personal mail offering incentives, great rates, and so forth. Yeah, I have loads of sites but they do NOT do very well. They certainly do NOT deserve 50% commission offers......
I am even more surprised when I mail that affiliate company the first time and say no thank you (very politely). No, I did not ignore their mail, I actually sent them a reply saying I was not interested at this stage. So, I was surprised to receive a second mail.
Please read it and then read my own reasons why I find it offensive. I would love to see where others stand on this type of marketing.
Hi Brian,
The casinos Rival is under attack this last days, so most of the time they are down. And this is include the casinos: play2win; 21grandcasino; vegasdays; Eurofortune etc… so you are losing traffic. I suggest you to put us online instead of them with our casino 7kasino.com We accept French traffic too,
Let me know what you need in terms of tools marketing, and I will send you every things. This is the link to open account into our aff platform: affearning.com
About the deal:
I can propose you 50% From the deposit this is mean that player come and deposit 1 000 Euro you will take 500 Euro, so it s completly different than revshare because revshare you take from the netgaming, and here i propose you to take directly 50% from the DEPOSIT!!
If you prefer CPA or even Hybrid deal we are opened to this kind of deal also.
Robert.

I was raised in the 60's and 70's. One of the core ethics I learned during this time is that you cannot build your happiness on someones unhappiness. I took this to mean that I cannot build my solid foundation on an unsteady foundation. The core rules of fair play are not met. I also have that "do unto others" thing ringing in my mind too.
Is it just me or is it maybe just a little bit harsh to wait till your opponent has been kicked in the proverbial $%#% and then, while he is out for the count, you try steal his customers? I am of course guessing that, if someone thereafter goes and steals the clients he stole, there will be a huge stink raised......
Just feeling a bit irritated I guess. I am in no way questioning Affearning by the way, simply this method of promotion. I for one am not impressed.....

IMO you are a poor salesperson if the only way you can sell yourself is by discrediting the competition.

Wow Brian,
I agree that the method to try and get you to put them up is not exactly nice, and it is a good thing they did not approach me in the same manner, I would likely not have been NEAR as nice in my response.....lol
