Default New site: can we get a browser check!

We're trying something different and have built a system from scratch. Bit of a pain in the ass, but has it's benefits and if all goes we'll we may start switching some of our older sites to it. Plus figured it's about bloody time I learnt how to do things without a CMS.

Anyway... would you lovely people mind having a look and telling me if everything works on your browser? In particular, any errors/things that look weird etc.. It's my own handiwork so strong chance I've buggered something up.

    Site is: http://www.top10bettingsites.co.uk/

Not mobile yet, need to iron out the bugs from the desktop version first.

Also interested to know if the offers on this page look OK as we've been having spacing issues with the boxes: http://www.top10bettingsites.co.uk/offers/

(also before anyone else mentions it, I've just noticed a couple of the offers have changed... damn new season)

    Hi,

It's pretty simple website, why didn't you consider to use a fancy Wordpress theme where everything could be changed with drag/drop functions? Apart from that I like the size of your reviews and they are very informative. You just need to fill the sidebar with some text and maybe a banner so your website look complete.

Well the whole point was that I wanted to build something that wasn't on a public CMS....

It's early days and we need to get the basics nailed down first before making it more complicated. So the simplicity is intentional.

I'm actually mainly interested if it throws up any errors for people, or if anything looks wonky style wise?

I like the logo and the site colours: red and green.

Loads ok in Safari in UK. I noticed no call to action buttons on the reviews. I take it they are still works in progress

Using Chrome from UK, loads fast (home and the offers page) with no visible errors.

Yeah we haven't done that kind of stuff yet, just trying to get the site working correctly first. I've mainly been ironing out errors until now.

It's not plain text, it's a custom flat file cms using a centralised data file. Idea being a) it's faster and b) we can update multiple sites using the same system.

    And yeah, not mobile yet.

Looks good and layout seems fine, even in my Firefox on Windows 7 (which has seen some issues and layout problems others do not see).

Loaded up pretty fast, and saw no errors. The offers page looks good no errors there either.

I hit a handful of pages both with adblocker on and off and all seems fine.
