Anyone had any experience with people per hour?

The work is piling up and I needed some specific articles (non-gaming) so decided to give crowd sourcing a go - was wondering if anyone had any experience with people per hour? I chose PPH specifically as it seems to have more UK freelancers than elance or odesk etc.. and the site I that needs the articles is UK focussed.

I posted a job yesterday and have had a great response from both ideal candidates that were exactly what I was looking for, and also some idiots that can't even read the job details.

Anyway, I thought I'd share with you one of the bids - it made me laugh. Bear in mind that the bid was for a writing job that specifically asked for a UK based personal trainer...

I am very good writer. Please give me a try to work on these articles. You will definitely get happiness. I do not need upfront.

Haha you still have to sift through some of the crap, however a lot less of it. It is definitely my site of choice when it comes to freelancers.

I have made some good connections through there and have been using some of the people for 6+ months without fail - I'd definitely recommend the site to anyone based on my experience, and I wouldn't say that about many of the freelancer sites.
