Should I disavow those links

Noticed that i have more and more strange links in GWT (from sites that in many cases do not exist) - should i disavow or google will do the job?

From my point of view - yes. Google does not tak the disavow file like something you want to cheat the ranking with, it is always good to keep the linking profile in best shape. I bought an older domain and started to build a portal on it, but when I checked the link profile, my head nearly exploded I made a disavow file instantly, but it goes very slow. 20 domain pointing to me disavowed after one month. Seriously thinking about copying the whole website to a brand new domain, fighting the ****** links is a long-term job.

I upload a fresh txt file last week, i saw almost 30 links like ...

I disavow also likes like seositecheckup.com and stuff

and similar. So thought to take these out...

I see dollar bills the whole day and night - but yes, looks like a "auto convert" function of the forums software.

Disavow it's a great solution when competitors try to kill your netlinking.

In fact, the best is to remove and delete this toxic link but if you can't make this cause of NSEO "Fivver" campaign against you, use Disavow and create great value backlinkg.

You need some Press links or other great trust website link for preserved your website against penalty.

Some people say the disavow tool does nothing. AFAIK it's used for machine learning and when enough people disavow links from a certain site then Google is not counting those links anyway.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell if disavowing a particular link is a good idea or not. It's also quite time consuming to regularly go through a growing list of the latest inbound links, looking for dodgy links to disavow. Since google is so great and can tell the difference between decent and dodgy links, why doesn't it automatically discount the effect of questionable links without punishing the poor site that is possibly being hit with negative seo?

I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't think it makes any difference. How many links do you have pointing to your site? Just curious.

You mean those crappy ones - need to check. usually I don't pay too much attention to them cause i believe google is smarter than this, but recently their number grew enough to catch my attention.

Don't plan to turn it into a project, will just disavow on domain level some of them that annoy me and that's it.

Rumour has it that Google has let up on backlink penalties last January. There was just too much competitive sabotage going on and something needed to be done. From what I understand, they just don't count all the spammy back links anymore. I guess time will tell and we will see in the next coming months if this is true or not. I don't think this means we are able to go back to our old ways of 1000's of exzact match anchor texts etc etc. Many websites that had penalties were released from them. Would I stil disavow any spammy links? Yes, I probably still would. I probably wouldn't for a few though
