Kodus casino issue (Player did not read terms)

So I won $150 at Kodus casino but when it came time to cash out they just zeroed out my balance and told me to suck an egg. These guys are a rogue casino who think they can just scam whoever they want.

Yes, apparently I violated their terms of conditions by betting more than $5. What happened was I got some free spins on a slot, played the spins, won some money, then played $5 hands of blackjack to clear the bonus. Right at the very end, when I was up to around $210 with very little roll over left, I switched to $10 hands just to finish it a bit faster. There is a max cashout value from this bonus of $150. Apparently this violates their terms and conditions (can't bet more than $50 so they can just steal my money. Maybe technically by the letter of the law they are right, obviously I don't read the fine print at every online casino I play at, I just assume most operators are going to be ethical and honest, but I think it shows that they are a greedy casino that will not hesitate to screw over their customers for their own financial advantage. I think that everyone should be aware that if they play at this casino they will put in predatory terms and use these terms of take advantage of their players.

Every player should read the terms and conditions. That way they don't break the terms and get their wins confiscated for doing so.

I'm struggling with this one, Kodus Casino haven't scammed you at all, they've done nothing wrong if it's in their terms & conditions, just because you didn't take the time to read them isn't their fault.

However in the interest of good will and the amounts involved they perhaps could pay out, but if they do it for you how many others are in the same boat.

Personally I would take it as a lesson learned, always check the small print, if you don't that's your own risk to accept the possible consequences.

T&C's are tricky to understand at the best of times, but there are some great casino sites out there that will warn you as you open up a game that the max stake is €5 or whatever the terms state. I wish this was implemented everywhere it certainly would avoid issues at a later time.

Kodus is blacklisted on some pages...probably not without reason.
And yes u are right, many casinos would warn u,if u bet more than 5€/$.

The name itself, looks like a plagiarism of "kudos" casino that belongs to another group. To me, personally, does not inspire me trust, however in this case, player admitted that broke the t&c´s, many online casinos advise you its true, but they are not forced to do it, and even in those ones that warn you, players still should read all t&c´s before join.

This guy has posted a few places the same message to try spread the word about how bad that casino are, in an attempt to dirty their name. But what he's actually done is show that he's not read the terms of the free chip, broke the terms and walked away from his free chip session with the same amount as he put in.

You've not lost anything, you've not gained anything other than experience and I bet you had fun while playing. Consider this a lesson learned and stop spreading your muck all over the internet.

I have looked in to your account and can see that you are a new player with us and that you used a $20 Sign Up Kudos Credit on your account.

If you look through the terms and conditions for Bonuses/Kudos Credits you will see a term that states;

"During play with Kudos Credits wagers may not exceed 25% of the original credit amount. This is active as long as the Kudos Credits remain in the account balance regardless of the wagering requirement."

Looking through your play history we can see that you placed several bets over the 25% threshold hence why the winnings were removed from your account on this occasion.

Removing winnings from a players account is something we don't take any pleasure in doing and this is why we always encourage players to read the terms and conditions or contact us if they are unsure of anything.

Your clearly not a 'greenhorn', you well aware that a "casino" has T&C's (rules) which govern bonus play, along with general T&C's etc. Not reading them before commencement of play, is NOT the casino's fault.
